About Littera Scripta
Littera Scripta, the phrase is Latin for "The Written Word", and
the inspiration comes from the maxim featured on the main page.
Vox audita perit, littera scripta manet
(The spoken word perishes, but the written word remains).
This site is intended to be a resource for readers and booksellers who are new
to the internet. I have not tried to include an exhaustive set of links, as
there are several really wonderful compilations available already (see
sidebar). But I have tried to point out those pages which really shouldn't be
missed.
If you think I've missed something, or find anything that's confusing or just
plain wrong, then please do let me know. I welcome corrections and additions.
Enjoy!
